I’m Dan Lovatt, founder of Lovatt Studio, an interior design practice based in the North East, UK.

I launched Lovatt Studio four years ago, and since then have worked across residential, commercial, and creative consultancy projects. After graduating with First Class Honours in Interior Design from Teesside University, my passion for design has shaped both my career and the way I see the world.

For me, interior design goes far beyond aesthetics. It’s about listening, understanding, and finding creative solutions that bring comfort, function, and character to a space. It’s about collaboration — exploring ideas, solving challenges, and creating environments where you feel instantly at ease.

The spaces we inhabit profoundly influence how we live and feel. My role is to help you harness that potential through thoughtful design, genuine collaboration, and a touch of creativity — and yes, the lovely cushions too.
